SLOW TRAVEL NOTES
Time to Listen Adds Depth to a Walk
Whether you know the temple-bell story or only its name, Dojoji offers a reason to listen again. Beyond the steps, roofs and a three-storey pagoda rise against the sky. Before counting buildings, take in the space and trees.
This walk starts at JR Dojoji Station. The paid visit and narrative are optional. The 10:00–14:00 outline is editorial, not a train timetable or a promised narrative start. Check your return train first and ask at reception about the order of your visit.

Official English guidance gives about ten minutes on foot from JR Dojoji Station. Allow thirty minutes here for orientation and checking the return train. Taxis may be hard to find by the station; arrange one ahead if needed.
The photographs show the grounds in December 2008. They do not guarantee current seasonal scenery or interior access. No invented identity or history is attached to the small hall or stone monument.

EDITORIAL NOTE
Time to Listen Adds Depth to a Walk
Dojoji presents Anchin and Kiyohime through a copy of a picture scroll. Enjoy it as a legend; a woman turning into a serpent is not established historical fact. You can simply admire the grounds or request the narrative if it interests you.
